Mohaba (Uttar
Pradesh), September 21: Another shocking incident of crime against women has
surfaced, and again it is from Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday police in Mahoba had
to arrest an 18-year-old for raping a minor girl, repeatedly, and posting the video
of his first sexual assault online.
“The
15-year-old victim has been sent to a government hospital for medical
examination”, said the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rajendra Kumar
Gautam.
Based on the
complaint filed by the minor's father, the accused was taken into custody and
a case has been registered against the repeated offender at Kotwali Nagar
police station.
Station
House Officer Balram Singh said the first incident took place in August, when
the accused had captured the whole sexual assault of the minor on a video,
which he used to blackmail her with. He threatened the victim many times using
the video as the medium of blackmail and raped the girl many more times.
The accused,
even after repeated sexual assaults was not satiated of his need to sexually abuse
the minor and still threatened her, according to the victim. This is when she
stopped stooping to his diktats and ignored him.
His need to
further sexually abuse her and also to teach her a lesson forced the accused to
ultimately put his threat into action. But little did he know that this act of
his to spite the victim yet again would land him in jail and he will have to
face the courts and the girl will extract her justice through a process she is
empowered to through the Indian constitution.
