Indore (Madhya Pradesh), August 7: Madhya Pradesh Police is on
a lookout for an assaulter based on a 50-year-old woman rape survivor’s
account. The accused is a ward boy in a hospital where the victim was admitted for
her treatment. The heinous incident which occurred in Indore on July 28, has been
registered by Police on August 2.
The victim is a 50-year-old woman and native of Dhaar
district.
As per the Police report, the victim was not well for some time.
Based on her medical examination, dialysis was recommended at the government
hospital. The accused ward boy, taking advantage of her situation, took her to
an isolated room and raped her. The woman kept on crying and begging him to spare
her, but the ward boy continued to assault her.
After the act, the ward boy got scared and admitted the
woman to a private ward in the hospital. He also threatened the woman with dire
consequences if she told anyone about the incident. The woman was kept in the
ward for two days. Later, the accused ward boy also gave her one thousand
rupees and sent the woman back home.
After the woman reached home, she kept quiet for some time
but later she told everything about the incident to her husband. Soon after he
heard about the sexual assault, the woman's husband registered a case against
the ward boy.
Police have registered a case against the assaulter ward boy
under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) 375. Somehow, the ward boy got wind of it and
since then is absconding from his house.
