Rampur, (UP), June 4: A gruesome incident occurred when a man drove a nail into the private parts of his wife over a petty domestic argument. The incident occurred in Rampur town in Uttar Pradesh state in North India last week.
Police said a conflict between a wife and husband arose over a domestic issue that angered the husband so much that he resorted to such a cruel deed. According to the complaint which was filed at Rampur Police Station, the husband arrived late in the night and was drunk. The couple got into an argument that angered the husband so much that he inserted a nail into the private parts of his wife.
The woman screamed for help but no help was forthcoming. She then went to the police station to lodge a complaint against her husband. Police have asked the couple to have a conversation and to sort out the conflict between them.
After a few hours of conversation, the husband and wife arrived at a compromise.
According to the case in-charge Shrikant Prajapati, though the woman had registered a complaint against her husband, she withdrew it after the couple decided to compromise. Police also send the victim for a medical check-up and treatment.
