New Delhi,
September 2: Another horrible incident has come to the light from the National
Capital, a four-year-old was allegedly raped by a 28-year-old man in Central
Delhi’s Bapa Nagar on Thursday. Delhi’s law and order comes under the Central Home
Ministry and most experts have accused the level of policing to have come to
near zero in recent years.
The accused, identified
as Dipesh, works at a denim manufacturing factory near the victim’s house and
has been arrested on Friday, as per the information received.
The victim regularly used
to go to the premises where Dipesh worked while playing. The accused
has been alleged of luring the victim on the pretext of buying her candies and then
sexually assaulted her.
Later the victim narrated
her ordeal to her parents and they immediately informed the local police. The
culprit was also beaten up by family members and locals near police station.
A case has been registered under the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and the accused has been sent to jail, said a senior police officer.
