Sonipat, (Haryana), May 24: Police is looking out for two youth who allegedly raped two sisters and filmed the act. According to police, the two sisters have been married in Gohna area in the same village.

According to the complaint, on April 25 night two youth entered the elder sister's house by jumping the wall. They threatened the woman with a knife and forced her to give her husband a drink laced with drugs that would induce sleep.

After drinking it, the elder sister's husband became unconscious. The two men then took advantage of this and raped the woman. They also filmed this act on their mobile phones and threatened to release the video on social media. They also threatened to kill them if they revealed what had happened.

Five days later, the two men did the same thing again, but this time in her younger sister’s house who lived nearby. They jumped the wall and entered the younger sister’s house and did the same thing again. They also filmed the act.

Repeating their modus operandi, they threatened the younger sister with dire consequences if she told about this incident to anyone. Both the sisters kept quiet for a long time. This emboldened the alleged rapists and they started doing this regularly. They used to drug the husbands and rape them.

Both the sisters pleaded with the men to delete their videos and spare them but they did not relent. Finally, fed up with the sexual exploitation, the sisters informed their husbands about their ordeal. They then approached the police and registered a complaint last Monday at the women’s police station. Police are investigating the matter and sub-inspector Sudheesh said that they are looking for the accused.

Sudheesh said they had received similar complaints against the two youth earlier also. These alleged rapists took advantage of the silence of victims to sexually exploit them. They have filmed many such incidents and uploaded them on social media, said the police.

Further, they said, “We have not received any official complaints so far against them.” This is the first time somebody has found the courage to file a complaint against them, said Sub Inspector Sudheesh.
