Shimla (Himachal
Pradesh), September, 14: Himachal Pradesh police said on Monday that they have
registered two cases of rape in the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh area in a day.
In the first
complaint filed, a woman from Madhya Pradesh, has alleged that a local youth, Naeem
whom she had met at Gwalior, had physically abused her for the past four years.
According to
the complainant, she said that the accused had promised to marry her. She
alleged that he called her to Nalagarh 10 days ago and raped her in his house.
In another
case, a 33-year-old woman told the police today that Gurdass Sharma came to her
residence in Barotiwala in March and raped her after giving her some narcotics
that left her unconscious and vulnerable to sexual assault. She has claimed
that she was impregnated by Gurdass and now was six-month pregnant.
