Jodhpur (Rajasthan), June 11: Jodhpur police is on the lookout for two teachers who are accused of raping a girl student. It is alleged that two teachers of a government school in Jodhpur in Rajasthan state of India raped a class six student many times. 


Police have registered the case against the two teachers under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Thursday and investigating the case.


However, the two teachers are absconding and the police is trying to locate their whereabouts. The victim was sent for a medical check-up and the reports are awaited.


The accused teachers belong to a government higher primary school at Mokamgadh which comes under Shergadh police limit. The victim's father lodged a complaint after he learnt his daughter was raped multiple times by Sahi Ram and Suja Ram Vishnoi on the school premises. He also mentioned that his daughter was first raped in the last week of March. 


Police said, the two teachers took the girl to a room and raped her. They threatened the girl with dire consequences if she told about this incident to anyone. The victim said that the teachers used to threaten her that they will fail her if she told anyone about what they were doing to her so kept quiet.


The rapes came to light when the girl felt sick and she was taken to hospital for treatment. After the test, it was found that she was pregnant which shocked her family. On inquiring, they learnt about the rapes by her teachers.


Police said they were on the lookout for both the accused. A police spokesperson said, "We have raided at their houses but they were not found. We are also inquiring whether they have done the same thing with other girl students in the school or not."
