Meerut (Uttar
Pradesh), September 2: An extremely disturbing and shockingly evil incidence of
sexual assault has been reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut. A minor girl was
allegedly repeatedly raped by her brother-in-law, for consecutively two months.
The minor’s
ordeal started two months back, when the victim has gone shopping and went missing
without a trace. Family members, after searching for her in all conceivable places
and still when were unable to find her, registered a missing complaint in the
nearby police station.
But as luck would
have it, on Sunday August 29, the victim somehow managed to escape from the servitude
of the culprit and called her parents and informed them about everything. The
survivor’s parents immediately reached Hapur (where the accused had kept her)
and brought her back to Meerut and informed the police.
The victim, while
talking to the police, narrated her whole sordid ordeal starting from the day
that she had gone shopping in the near-by market and she saw her brother-in-law
there, to how he trapped her and allegedly took her with him. She also said
that he kept her hostage in Hapur for two months and used to rape her after
injecting some drugs into her body.
The accused hails
from Hapur and was married to the survivor’s elder sister for the past six
years. The woman is a resident of Lisari gate area of Meerut. Sometime back the
couple were facing some differences of opinion due to which the woman chose staying
with her parents.
The accused is
still absconding, and the victim had been sent for medical examination after
she filed the complaint against him, said CO Arvind Chaurasia.
