Karauli, Rajasthan, May 14: Hindoun Police of Karauli district in
Rajasthan arrested a minor for raping and killing a five-year-old child. The
police have arrested the minor boy, who allegedly did this gruesome act, into
custody.
According to the police, the mother of the victim asked her to
go to a nearby shop to buy some essential item for the home. The girl went to
the shop and didn't come back home so the parents begin searching for the girl.
In the meantime, news spread that the body of a girl was found
lying in the ruins of an old building in the same village. The parents of the
girl along with other villagers rushed to the old building and found that the
dead girl was their daughter.
The parents and the villagers after identifying the dead body
begin agitating, demanding action against the culprit. Police officials reached
the spot and pacified the villagers and assured them that swift action would be
taken.
Police officers who were at the spot where the body was found
included Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachwa, additional SP Purushotam, Deputy
District Collector Suresh Kumar Yadav and Police Inspector Kripal Singh.
The police began a search for the accused using a sniffer dog. The
sniffer dog was able to identify the accused within 24 hours of the crime being
committed.
Police said the accused lured the victim and took her to the old building and raped her. After raping the girl, he killed her.
