Chapra, May 10: Police are on the
lookout for four youngsters who gang-raped a 15-year-old girl in Chapra city of
Bihar. While the police was searching for the accused, the girl recorded her
statement in front of the magistrate at the district court on Saturday.
The police said that the girl left
her house to answer nature's call late in the evening. On her return, the four
young men allegedly cornered her and dragged her to an isolated location There,
they allegedly raped her.
After returning home, the girl
informed her family members about the incident so the family approached the
police and registered a case the next day. Police has since launched a search for
the accused.
After registering the complaint, Sub
Inspector Ramchandra Tiwari reached the spot with his team and started
investigating the matter and Inspector Dayanand Singh accompanied by women
police took the victim to the city hospital for medical check-up.
Just a few months ago, another group of young men from the same village had raped another minor girl and filmed the act which they then made viral. Police have arrested the accused in that case and sent them to judicial remand.
