Riva, (MP), May 23: In a very shocking incident reported in Riva District of Madhya Pradesh, a woman has lodged a complaint alleging that she was raped by a young man while she was sleeping with her husband. The incident has confused the police of Mauganj Police Station where the complaint has been filed.
In her complaint, the woman said that she was sleeping with her husband and a young man came raped her and fled away. The shocking thing is that the victim said that initially, she thought it was her husband but later she realized that the man was someone else and her husband was asleep next to her.
This incident took place last week. In her statement, the victim said that when the accused was having sex with her, she was silent because she thought it was her husband but when she figured out that her husband was sleeping next to her, she started shouting. Her husband tried to catch hold of the person but he managed to break free and run away.
The victim has lodged a complaint of rape against the youth. According to the police the couple is living in a small hut. At the time of the incident, a five-year-old kid of the couple was also sleeping with them.
Madhya Pradesh Police is not able to understand how this could have happened. But as per the victim's statement, when the incident occurred, there was no light in the hut.
Police had inspected the spot and found nothing suspicious. It is said that the youth who is accused in this case has some disagreement with the victim's husband. This makes the whole incident suspicious.
The case has been transferred to a woman sub-inspector who will investigate the matter. The victim was sent for a medical check-up and the police is waiting for the medical report.
