Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) June 16: A youth has been arrested for allegedly raping mother and daughter in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The police is looking out for two other accused. These horrific alleged rapes occurred on Saturday, June 12 around midnight in Devipur Village in Moradabad district in the Northern state of Uttar Pradesh in India.
The victim woman is reported to be 34 years old and her daughter is 11-years-old. The incident occurred in Bilari police station jurisdiction of Moradabad.
At around midnight on that fateful night, three strongmen of the village forcefully got into the victim's house compound. That night, the woman, her husband and her daughter was sleeping outside the room in the compound. The accused were masked and armed. At gunpoint one of the accused took the woman's husband inside the room and tied his hands and legs.
After this, the three accused took the woman and her daughter inside the room and raped them taking turns amongst themselves.
According to the statement of the victim's husband, the three accused raped his wife and daughter in front of him. The victim's husband has registered a complaint against Faiyaaz and his two friends.
The victim's husband said that the accused and his friends used to misbehave with his wife whenever she went out of the house. He alleged that eight months ago also the same people had raped his wife but police did not take any action even after he filed a complaint. He alleged that police helped the accused to settle the matter outside the police station.
District Superintendent of Police DD Singh said that they have registered a case under article 452, 376 A, 323, 506, 5M of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape, armed assault, etc, based on the victim's complaint. Further, Singh informed that they have arrested one of the accused. We are conducting raids to arrest the other accused and soon the other two accused will also be behind bars, he added.
